A Visit to the Toppenish Flea Market is Always a Fun Time
Over the weekend my son felt cooped up at home and wanted to get out. I figured it was as good of a time as any for a quick drive to Toppenish to visit the Toppenish Flea Market.
The northwest isn't very well known for flea markets as they are in the southern states like California and basically anywhere in the south. But happy to find anything we can get in our area.
From what I understand, this is a newer location for the flea market. You can find this at the Yakamart near the casino.
The flea market was a bit like a farmer's market as well as people were selling fry bread, drinks, candy and nuts by the pound and more. Nice variety of random stuff as you never know what you're going to find.
My son immediately found a booth selling those 'bubble popping' toys in various sizes to giant sheets to some shaped like items to one that was a fidget spinner that had those bubble popping things on the spinners itself. Best of both worlds I suppose. I like that booth because they also had a few movies and video games. They also had power tools. Can't go wrong there.
Down the way we found a table that had wallets. I do need a new wallet. At the end of the table were baggies full of smaller toys that was fun to dig through.
Another table was full of video games for all systems. Atari, Nintendo, Playstation, Xbox -- they had a few of everything. They also had some star wars and power rangers toys.
All in all, I probably spend around $80 on a few video games, kettle corn, fry bread and that fidget spinner. I'll be back again soon. Someone there mentioned it's usually open on the weekends. Might be worth stopping by just for fun.
