KIT Morning News Listener Larry (Larry Krueger) knows a thing or two about apple maggots.  He used to trap them, now he supervises others who do.

He was listening to the Morning News and heard State Senator Judy Warnick's comments about the Governor's good gesture gone bad - Inslee's transporting home grown apples infected with apple maggots from Olympia to Eastern Washington.

It was intended as a gesture of goodwill for communities damaged by wildfires but it was actually against the law.

Larry Krueger called the show to lend his expertise to the conversation and explain why the infected fruit is no laughing matter. Thanks Larry.  Here's what he had to say this morning on KIT.
