Agent 47 won't be the butt of anyone's April Fool's Day joke as long as he has his fiber wire garrote in this next set of free offerings for Xbox Live subscribers.

Microsoft has announced on Xbox Wire that Hitman: Absolution and Deadlight are going to be the two free titles available on Xbox 360 for Xbox Live subscribers. This month's offerings for the Games with Gold program are significantly a lot more impressive than the lackluster, relatively unknown titles that were given for free last month.

From April 1-16, Xbox Live Gold subscribers will be able to download Hitman: Absolution. Absolution marks the fifth entry of the Hitman franchise and depicts Agent 47 being hunted by both his assassin's agency and the police force. Deadlight will be available for download from April 16-30. Deadlight depicts the story of Randall Wayne in a 2D, side-scrolling zombie title where you must climb, run and jump through level after level in order to escape the zombie-infested Seattle area.

Once you have downloaded these titles, they will permanently be labelled as purchased under your Xbox Live account, allowing you to delete and re-download them however you see fit down the line. Unfortunately, this marks yet another month where there is no free offering for the Xbox One in terms of the Games with Gold program.
