BeardFest Brought Beards, Beer and More Beards

This past Saturday, Bearded Monkey hosted the third annual BeardFest, which invited people with beards (and without) for a fun time of food trucks, beer and beard competitions with live music to boot.

I had the perfect friend to bring along, too, as my buddy Tim has been growing his beard since 2016.

Neither of us entered the beard competition, but it was fun to watch as they had different categories from partial to "business class" to the full beard. They also had a people's choice award, the winner of  which will be featured on next year's poster.

It's just one of those events that's fun for the sake of fun as being it's from Bearded Monkey it's a great way to get the beard growers of Yakima to get together and, I don't know, share grooming techniques? I'm not sure. We had fun, though.
