Boy Throwing Rocks Shot Drive-By Style with Crossbow

A couple kids playing a dangerous game with rocks and a passenger in a car went medieval on each other in a bizarre incident which left one of the boys hospitalized.

According to police, the unnamed boy and his friend were throwing rocks at cars that passed by the youngster’s San Diego home. One of their projectiles either hit or was close to hitting a Toyota Rav 4, which happened to be carrying a passenger armed with a crossbow.

The bowman rolled down the window, stuck out his weapon, and fired, striking the rock-thrower in the abdomen. The boy remains in the hospital, where he is expected to recover from his injury, and police are on the lookout for the shooters.
