Back in January we told you that the annual Fresh Hop Ale Festival in downtown Yakima was still planning on moving forward with putting on the event in 2021 (slated for Saturday, October 2nd) after a one-year hiatus. That is still the plan (woo-hoo!) but, for now, organizers are delaying ticket sales.

Another bitterly difficult decision to cancel in light of the coronavirus pandemic was made yesterday by the Downtown Association of Yakima. The wildly popular 'Downtown Summer Nights' concert series has officially been shuttered for this year.
