Chicken and Waffle Sandwich is as Delightful as it Sounds
I had some friends in town from Seattle over the weekend. I showed them around Yakima, pointed out the schools, the hills, the mountains -- grab a drink from Bale Breaker. Y'know, usual tourist stuff. When it came time to eat they wanted something close to the hotel so Second Street Grill seems like a nice option. My friend pointed out he's never seen a chicken and waffle sandwich offered anywhere so he bought one and, sounded good to me, I did as well.
I'm so glad I did!
Second Street Grill offers several food options so every time I go I usually order something different. I've never been disappointed in anything I've gotten from there. When he mentioned it I figured it was something I had to try for myself.
Two waffles with a large piece of chicken in the middle along with cheese, egg and bacon. It was fantastic!
Chicken and waffles isn't something found often in the northwest, it's more of a southern combo, but I loved this and can't wait to grab another in the near future.
