Closed Washington Campground Has One of the Oddest Names You’ll Ever Hear
We took a little road trip up to Roslyn and Ronald this week, and there were SO many beautiful things to see. The roads were one lane all the way up. I did some scoping out for new places to camp out, and one campground really caught my eye.
We got up to the sign and I about died laughing. The name of the campground was Wish Poosh! What in the heck kind of name is that for a campground? We stopped right by the sign and noticed that there was a "closed" sign on it.
The campground is on the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest and it's in the Alpine Lakes Wilderness. Turns out it's closed until at least next year because of falling tree hazards.
We gotta back there someday. And we gotta find out what "Wish Poosh" means!
