Congressman Hosting Blood Drive in Yakima This Month

The American Red Cross is trying to keep up with the demand for blood during the COVID-19 pandemic but they say it's been a challenge.

4th District Congressman Dan Newhouse wants to help by holding a special blood drive later this month in Yakima. The drive is set for April 17, at the Tower Annex at 421 East Chestnut Avenue. The drive will be held from 10:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. You can sign up at dannewhouse.com/blooddrives
