Dia de los Muertos Chalk Art Festival This Weekend In Yakima

This Saturday the sidewalks of downtown Yakima will be taken over by the dead.

Well, at least drawings of the dead.

From 11:00 am to 3:00 pm, Downtown Yakima's annual Chalk Art Festival will celebrate Dia de Los Muertos.

The Chalk Art Festival is a day of family fun with art and chalk as artists and community members alike create wonderful sidewalk art.

Bring your artistic spirit and plenty of smiles as we celebrate art, our community, and this year’s theme, Dia de Los Muertos. The event is free to the public and will happen on 3rd Street between Yakima Avenue and SSgt. Pendelton Way.
