Drunk Driver Stops in Middle of Police Chase to Pee [VIDEO]

Estevan Tapia was leading police on a 10-mile car chase when he was overcome with the urge to relieve himself.

So the Albuquerque, NM., man pulled over and indulged himself on the pavement — all the while with a beer bottle in hand.



The police understandably thought this meant he was surrendering, but were reluctant to approach Tapia immediately because they weren’t quite sure what else he might have in his pants. Imagine their surprise when the 26-year-old  jumped back into his pick-up truck after finishing his business and continued to flee the cops.

The police caught him for good about a quarter-mile later and arrested him for drunk driving, among other charges. Watch a video of the bizarre stop-and-go police chase below:
