A new business in Yakima is trying to help promote getting out there, looking around our great valley to take in the sights or just cruise around for fun. There's a new eBike rental shop opening in Terrace Heights that might be worth checking out.

Boost Bikes has a few models of electric bikes to choose from and you can rent for the day or even a full week. Perfect if you wanted to take it camping or something I suppose. Or maybe you or someone you know is only in town for a few days. Instead of renting a car you can scoot around town in one of these eBikes. Might be fun!

They officially open August 7, 2021. Look for their location in Terrace Heights.

To find out more about how has the price of gas changed throughout the years, Stacker ran the numbers on the cost of a gallon of gasoline for each of the last 84 years. Using data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (released in April 2020), we analyzed the average price for a gallon of unleaded regular gasoline from 1976 to 2020 along with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for unleaded regular gasoline from 1937 to 1976, including the absolute and inflation-adjusted prices for each year.

Read on to explore the cost of gas over time and rediscover just how much a gallon was when you first started driving.
