Gender schmender, we are all the same, right?  What did the Kinks sing back in 1970  "Girls will be boys and boys will be girls...It's a mixed up, muddled up, shook up world, except for Lola.."

Well not so fast gender benders.  New research out of New York State indicates there IS a noticeable difference between women and men.  (We talk about such things all the time on the Morning News Radio Show)

Well, despite what people on the progressive left says about equality and neutrality of the sexes, when it comes to meeting around the old cheeseburger, the fast food impacts are NOT the same for men and women.   Some folks suggest "you are what you eat"  but one thing we do know is that what you eat can determine how you feel you "are".

According to Yahoo news, Researchers from Binghamton University in New York looked at men and women ages 30 and older and found that for women specifically, a healthy diet may be especially crucial for staving off anxiety, depression, and distress.
Women who ate less healthy food and skipping breakfast reported significantly more negative side effects with mental health and mood than men.
The scientist say so called good mood foods like nuts, fish and leafy greens did seem to generate  a more positive mood, while eating fast food and skipping breakfast were linked to worse mood scores. Same with high glycemic foods that quickly raise blood sugar like potato chips, white bread, and sugary foods.
Scientists are quick to point the the study proved correlation, not causation saying it's possible that happier people are just more likely to make healthier food choices.
