Recently, Filter revealed via their socials that the reBus collaboration between singer Richard Patrick and his former Short Bus cohort Brian Liesegang was not going to happen "due to the PledgeMusic debacle," instead shifting the attention to the 20th anniversary of Title of Record.

With some questions about the statement, we reached out to Filter and Patrick, who offered some clarity on the matter in a new statement.

reBus is noBus, or at least not-right-now bus.

Brian and I have decided to shelve the reBus album for right now for a variety of reasons, but know this...

I will be working on a new FILTER album called “They Got Us Right Where They Want Us, At Each Other’s Throats.”

Hopefully three songs will be on the new album that Brian and I wrote together, working titles being "Murica," "Thoughts and Prayers" and "(Command-Z) High as a Muv’ Fucka’."

As stated earlier, Filter have a special 20th anniversary edition of their Title of Record album en route. Fans will be able to pick it up as of Aug. 9. The band recently premiered their rare Dub Pistols remix of "The Best Things" that's one of the bonus materials for the set right here at Loudwire. It's currently available as an instant grat track for pre-orders placed ahead of the set's street date.

As for the new record, and Title of Record, Richard Patrick hopped on the phone with us and that interview will be coming soon. Stay tuned.
