Godsmack's made sure to hit the record button at their Detroit Rock City show last tour capturing 13 of their fav's for our enjoyment. The result is a new album titled "Live & Inspired" looking to drop on May 15th. As to why they chose the show performed in Detroit, singer Sully Erna commented: “It’s always a great audience, as any rock band will tell you. Playing there is a special kind of fan base that they have there, they live up to their reputation. They’re a great rock audience, so that’s where the record was recorded.”

Not only will the live album contain fan submitted photos that they asked for a few months back, but it will contain a covers EP containing Joe Walsh's "Rocky Moutian Way" as well as 3 others that were recorded in Boston.
