Vampyr was just released for PS4, Xbox One and PC. It's a game I've been waiting for since late last year, but now that it's out is it worth your time and money? I play it for about an hour. Let's just see!

So, the game starts out with a quick backstory and you, basically, coming back from the dead confused as what's going on with you. You have an unquenchable thirst for blood as, within moments, you take out your first victim who happens to be your sister.

Already off to a swimming start!

From there the guards find you and chase you down into what basically becomes the tutorial part of game, teaching you how to run, fight and even bite your victims to gain a sort of 'vampire powers'. You can use those powers to gain back some health, make temporary weapons out of blood like a blood spear and more. Comes in handy.

Once the game really opens up it turns into an open world where you can walk around, talk to people to get clues and even switch senses so you can follow trails of blood to find where you need to go next.

I don't want to spoil too much but I'll say I enjoy it so far. It does play a lot like a lot of other games out there, but it's a fun distraction with a very cool, dark feel. If you dig games like this, you might wanna grab it.
