Some call it Sactown, others call it River City. Even if you call it "Capitol City", there's some strange and fun things to do in the heart of California. We found 5 things you can do to make your trip to Sacramento memorable and lots of fun!

1 . See a Sacramento Kings basketball game

You won't get to see former Real Housewife of Beverly Hills Bravolebrity, Adrienne Maloof, in the owners' suite at the Sacramento Kings games anymore because they sold the team years ago back in 2013 for a reported $534 million dollars. You might catch a glimpse of the current owner, Vivek Ranadivé, hanging out with celebrities in the courtside seats inside the Golden 1 Center. Get a ticket to one of the games here.

2 . Experience the Halloween Zombie Walk

Sacramento-ians know how to scare the begeezus out of you, just ask anyone who's participated in the Zombie Walk. It gets more frightening every year. If you are in Sacramento on October 14th, you'll get to be a part of the fun. The walk is set to begin at 8 p.m.

3 . Spend the night at The Delta King Paddleboat Hotel

There are many unique hotels to choose from in Sacramento, but one of the most intriguing is The Delta King Hotel. The paddleboat ship has been around for nearly 100 years, so it's safe to say that at age 96, Delta King Hotel, you've come a long way, baby!

What began as a way to transport military seamen and cargo along the Sacramento River to San Francisco in a world war during the 1920s has morphed into an exquisite way to spend the night in Sactown since the 90s (the ship became a hotel in 1989).

4 . See the adorable animals at the Sacramento Zoo

Ever seen a Squirrel Monkey or a White-faced Saki? You can see all sorts of beautiful mammals, reptiles, birds, amphibians, and fish at the Sacramento Zoo. The philosophy at this zoo is that of "education, conservation, and recreation."

5 . Buy something at the Antique Faire
