The Holiday Light Fest at State Fair Park is a new tradition in Yakima. I love the idea that you can stay in your car and drive along and see all the lights all around you to both sides, in front and even around. It's a very cool ordeal.
For various reasons ranging from me being out of town or being sick, I've never had the opportunity to experience this for myself until last night.

We grabbed our hot chocolate and leisurely drove through the exhibit which was a lot of fun for us.

There was a Santa and Grinch interacting with the people in the cars, they had a snowman and a couple of Gingerbread people dancing around and plenty of holiday favorites from our friends at Mega 99.3 that they had blasting through the fairgrounds as well as listening in your car.

It was fun to see the fairgrounds outside of the Central Washington State Fair time as you drive through where there are typically booths and rides. It was neat to see.

Here's a ton of photos. I hope you get a chance to see it for yourself.
