I absolutely love it when our local high schools do this. It's great for the community and always a pleasure to write about it online and talk about on the air.

AC Davis High School is doing something of a restaurant take over at Red Robin at Rainier Square on Nob Hill.

It couldn't be easier to participate.

All you have to do, really, is just show up at Red Robin, let your server know that you are there in support of the AC Davis High School, and place your order.

Letting your server know will make it so 20% of your bill will go to the AC Davis High School choir booster program.

You don't even have to go there in person to participate.

You can place an order online for curbside or in-store pick-up. When you're making your food selections at the bottom of the list is a fundraiser option. Add that to your order and they'll know what it's for.

Super easy.

The AC Davis High School choir boosters use these funds for a variety of things from student trips to getting supplies needed and so much more.

Supporting the arts in our local high schools is such an important thing we can do for our high school kids. To many, these art programs like choir, band, art, and any elective that give our kids creative freedom gives so many youth in our valley a sense of belonging and, speaking from my own experience, a reason to keep going to school.

See you tonight at Red Robin!
