If you've traveled or been to an airport, you'll know the food options and snacks can be a little high. It's always a great idea to bring some extra snacks from home if you can.

However, according to Mirror, TSA just suddenly banned these 7 food items for you to carry with you through airport security and on your way.

3.4 oz. TSA liquid limit

As you probably know, you're now allowed liquids that are more than 3.4 oz. to go through airport security. This is mostly for items like shampoo, hair gel, mouthwash, and other toiletries. One time TSA even threw away my toothpaste since it was a full-sized tube. My fault for hygiene, I guess.

This also goes for food items as well like water and soda.

And, beyond that, liquid-like foods like hummus or nacho cheese would classify as something they could toss as well.

Something to keep in mind.

Soft Cheeses

Think brie or other spreadable cheeses. In the little flight snack option, that's fine, you just can't bring any from home. At least not more than 3.4 oz. worth.

Honey

Sorry, Winnie the Poo. Leave the honey in the 'hunny pot' as they won't allow it through TSA.

Hummus

Same idea. Those little hummus cups are fun with the hummus on one side and pretzels on the other, but more than 3.4 oz. and they'll probably throw it away.

Peanut Butter

On top of peanut butter not allowed at 3.4 oz. some may have a peanut allergy so it's advised you don't travel with peanut butter in the first place.

I know, right! More unfortunate that we can't have a fiesta in 14C

Pudding

It's unfortunate but your toddler will have to leave the chocolate/vanilla swirl at home until they get back.

Yogurt

Another unfortunate one as those early morning flights don't allow too much time for breakfast so grabbing a yogurt for the road (or air) is a great way to do it. Unfortunately, if it doesn't fall below 3.4 oz. it could be removed.

This Hike in the Columbia River Gorge is a Must Experience

The Labyrinth to Coyote Wall Loop. It runs 6.7 miles with an elevation gain of 1,489 feet. It features a waterfall, lava tube, rock formations, and incredible views. It’s heavily trafficked with hikers and mountain bikers on weekends and dogs are welcome on a leash. Beware, you’ll need good hiking shoes as a good portion of the trail is very rocky. It’s open all year round, but the experts recommend day use from March to November.
