If you have grown up in the Treasure Valley or perhaps you've just been here for a while, odds are you've heard rumors and theories about the place that we call home.

Why is Boise the way that it is? Everyone has a theory--some old enough to be classified as "wives tales" by now, have stood the test of time. What goes on in Hidden Springs and is there a religious group that decides all?

We like to think that Boise isn't what some will make it to be--however, we had a great time reading a recent online conversation all about Boise and the conspiracy theories that exist here.

If you're familiar with Reddit, one user asked the masses "What's your local conspiracy theory" and it didn't take long for the Boise internet to chime in. Some are funny, some might be worth looking into and all of them are worth reading.
