Nirvana was one of the first grunge rock bands to make it big in Seattle, soon after bands like Pearl Jam, Sound Garden, Mud Honey, and a lot more would captivate millions on the radio across the country.

Sadly Kurt Cobain had a hard upbringing as a child, moving from home to home until he was eventually homeless and sleeping under bridges in Aberdeen Washington. All of that changed when Nirvana made it big.

After making it big Kurt moved to Seattle, started a family and a journey. Sadly in 1994, Kurt took his own life leaving behind a daughter and his wife. Since his passing fans everywhere have been trying to get their hands on some kind of memorabilia owned by the rockstar himself.

Now fans of the famous band have a chance to purchase the home Kurt partially grew up in. Over in Montesano Washington, Kurt lived with his father and stepmother for a brief period of time from 1978 to 1981 before moving back to Aberdeen.

The home is now up for sale and going to whoever buys it first. A listing from Redfin shows the home in its entirety.

The home itself is a 4 bedroom 2 bath and has been recently renovated inside and out. If you're looking to start your family or buy your first home this may be the perfect place for you. It only costs 279,900 dollars asking price...okay that's a lot but what an investment it is!

Check out the pictures of the home below...that garage has a lot of space for a garage band...I'm just saying.
