Back in May Lamb of God released an album of covers, Legion XX, under their original name Burn the Priest. The effort features the group's take on versions of classics from Bad Brains, Melvins, Quicksand, Agnostic Front and many more.

The metal act have unleashed an animated video for their cover of Ministry’s 1992 track “Jesus Built My Hotrod.” The clip features a man driving a souped-up old-fashioned car through several different terrains. He picks up a female hitchhiker, evades police,  encounters UFOs, aliens and faces some Mad Max-type of enemies on his bizarre trip. An animated Lamb of God rocking out on stage is featured prominently throughout the video

Guitarist Mark Morton says the Ministry classic is “a benchmark song from the early 90s." He adds, “We didn't even originally plan on doing it. Producer Josh Wilbur and I learned it real quickly and put it together. It turned out to be one of our favorite songs of the album. It features a side of Randy [Blythe] that people aren't used to hearing. Nothing was planned, so it felt fun, and we just went for it."

To celebrate the release of the clip, the band has announced a special discounted price for their latest effort. Legion: XX is available on iTunes for just $7.99 for one week only.
