There's so much to enjoy this time of year in Central Washington. From the Central Washington State Fair to the Fresh Hop Ale Festival, the next month is chock full of annual events.

One event that is celebrating its 24th year is going to be celebrated in a whole new location, and you won't want to miss it.

Leavenworth Oktoberfest is Moving to Wenatchee at the Town Toyota Center

Don your lederhosen and dust off your alpenhorn. I mean, those are things one should do on any given day, but now more than ever you'll want to be prepared for some amazing Oktoberfest fun for three full weekends in October.

The Leavenworth Oktoberfest is moving to Wenatchee at the Town Toyota Center. All your favorite Bands, German Beer, and Brats will be there and so much more, September 30th – October 1st, October 7th - 8th & 14th - 15th.

Wait, Why is Leavenworth Oktoberfest Moving to Wenatchee in 2022?

According to non-profit organizers, Projekt Bayern,

the reason for our move is due to the New City Administration deciding that the 24-year-old, Top 10 Ranked, Leavenworth Oktoberfest was no longer working for the City of Leavenworth.  In fact, they denied our Proposal for 2022, so we are moving the Original Leavenworth Oktoberfest to the Town Toyota Center in Wenatchee until we can find a permanent home!

LOOK: Best Beers From Every State

To find the best beer in each state and Washington D.C., Stacker analyzed January 2020 data from BeerAdvocate, a website that gathers user scores for beer in real-time. BeerAdvocate makes its determinations by compiling consumer ratings for all 50 states and Washington D.C. and applying a weighted rank to each. The weighted rank pulls the beer toward the list's average based on the number of ratings it has and aims to allow lesser-known beers to increase in rank. Only beers with at least 10 rankings to be considered; we took it a step further to only include beers with at least 100 user rankings in our gallery. Keep reading to find out what the best beer is in each of the 50 states and Washington D.C.
