It has been nearly five months since Legends Casino Hotel closed due to Covid-19. Owned and operated by the Yakama Nation. Legends casino closed its doors on March 18, 2020.

A sign and cement blocks were placed at the entrance. Letting the public know the casino is closed. Casino security and local law enforcement. And a few workers and management have been maintaining the casino.

Workers have been on stand by mode. Waiting to return to work. I know this because I  friends and family that work at the casino. They sometimes give me updates. In the past few months workers have been training and preparing to reopen. A date has been set to reopen. So get ready to either win or donate.

The Legends Casino Hotel family is ready to welcome back guests on August 13, 2020. Doors open at 10 AM. Of course, there are going to be some changes. Such as the hours, according to their website legendscasino.com the casino will be open from 10 AM to 2 AM.

Face masks will be required to be worn by both guests and the workers. The capacity for inside the casino and hotel will be limited to 50%. So expect an extended wait time to enter on reopening day.

Other changes include some facilities and services will not be available. Like valet parking, poker, and the buffet. Legends will temporarily be a smoke-free environment. But there will be a designated area outside of the property.
