We're just a few weeks out from Mastodon's Emperor of Sand album and the band has been generous so far in sharing music from the upcoming release. That now includes being generous in the live setting as well as during the band's SXSW performance at the Empire Garage in Austin, Texas, they gave three tracks their concert debut.

The three new songs during the set were "Show Yourself" (seen above), "Andromeda" (seen below) and "Sultan's Curse," with fan-shot footage from the performances of "Show Yourself" and "Andromeda" featured in this post.

Fans in other parts of the U.S. will be able to see the songs live soon enough. The band has a headline tour with Eagles of Death Metal and Russian Circles supporting on the horizon. See all of the band's tour dates at this location. Plus, they've booked a Jimmy Kimmel Live appearance and a trio of in-store stops.

The Emperor of Sand album is currently available to pre-order in a variety of options at the band's website. The disc officially drops March 31. The group just released a video for the new song "Show Yourself," and you can watch it here.
