• Little change is expected in the relationship between the U.S. and Japan following the midterm elections but it remains unclear on what Republican control of Congress means for Trans-Pacific Partnership negotiations.The Japan Times reports for a breakthrough in negotiations, Japan needs to make an opening move. Otherwise the other 11 nations involved in the TPP could decide to conclude an agreement without Japan.

    Those remarks came from Scott Miller who is a senior adviser at the Washington-based Center for Strategic and International Studies. He did say it would be better for all if Japan was included.

    By working with more than 700 independent farmers to raise the turkeys, Shady Brook Farms and Honeysuckle White are the first major turkey brands to implement a change like this on a large scale, according to the company. The change has been in the works for more than a year.
