Beignets are Available in Yakima, No need to go to New Orleans

I'm a big fan of food trucks. Yakima has several great options for food but when I noticed one that happen to have had beignets I got excited.

When Disney's The Princess and The Frog came out I loved it as it was featured in Louisiana and featured so many cajun dishes. One of the highlights is beignets.

If you're not familiar, they're a little like pillows made from 'funnel cake' batter, in a way. A sweet pastry of fried dough and it's so good. There are several ways you can serve these and, fortunately for me, the good people at What I Crave had several options, too.

I don't remember every option they had for Beignets but they had original dusted with powdered sugar, banana rum, apple and something. I was good with Banana Rum so I ordered one of those for myself and two more original for my kids.

These were great and if you get the chance you'll have to try them, too.
