It’s been over four years since Pierce the Veil released their Misadventure album and it appears fans won’t have to wait too much longer to hear new music from the California rockers. Frontman Vic Fuentes took to Twitter and said the band is working on a new album and he also teased a “big” and “life changing announcement.”

In a video posted on Twitter, Fuentes says, “Hey everyone, I’ve got a big announcement coming your way soon!” The singer-guitarist adds, “In addition to working on a new Pierce the Veil record, I’ve also been working on something big that I can’t wait to show you guys." He concludes, "This has been life changing for me and I want all of you guys to be a part of it as well. So check back soon, love ya.”

Could Vic be working on a solo album? Only time will tell.

Things have been quiet in the PTV camp for the past year. Last September, the group took to Twitter to announce they have “something really special" coming, but fans haven’t even gotten a whiff of any new music from the band.

Pierce the Veil released the EP Today I Saw The Whole World in 2017. Their last album, Misadventures, debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard Top 200 chart, selling over 54,000 copies in its first week of release.
