Queen’s Fast Version Of Their Classic “We Will Rock You” Will Make Your Head Asplode

There are certain things in life, like.. say, the Trilateral Commission, Operation Northwoods or the Illuminati that, when you first hear of them you say to yourself, "Why in the hell did it take so long for me to ever hear about this?!?!"

This nugget, recently unearthed from a 1977 session with legendary BBC disc jockey John Peel by the legendary band Queen is no different.

It will soon be released (November 4th) as part of a two CD collection called Queen on Air. It will contain 24 songs culled from the band's radio performances in the UK.

If the rest of the album kicks as much butt as this fast-tempo version - which features blistering drums by Roger Taylor, a singing guitar by Brian May and, of course, Freddie Mercury's vocals beyond reproach - of "We Will Rock You", then I think I know what I want from Santa Claus this Christmas!
