The first annual Sagebrush Hills Film Festival is set to run this weekend at the Yakima Valley Museum.

In all, five films will be screened over the course of the three day event, including entries from the U.S., Mexico, Spain, Holland, and Great Britain. Each picture was hand-picked by festival creators Soo Choi and Clayton Bussey and "span a range of important social topics and encompass the breadth of human emotions."

Friday will feature a Red Carpet party beginning at 5:30 p.m. followed by the first feature. Cost is $20. Two films will be shown on Saturday and Sunday with passes for a single feature just $8, a one-day pass for $15 and all five flicks over three days just $30. Children 10 and under are free of charge and Sunday is entirely free to the public as well.
