Seattle, Not Yakima, Named City with the Ugliest Building

Do you think Yakima has ugly buildings? I, personally, wouldn't consider them ugly. Aged or antiquated, perhaps, but I don't think there are any ugly buildings in Yakima as much as most people think there are.

The website Alot posted the ugliest building in each state. There are a few doozies on this list but curious about Washington state. As it turns out, the building they chose I don't agree with, but at least it's not in Yakima.

They say the MoPop in Seattle is the ugliest building in all of Washington state.

The Museum of Pop Culture is such a well-known structure at Seattle Center. Perhaps I'm just used to it but I don't think it's ugly at all. Then again, I'm used to older architecture like what we have in Yakima.

However, we can be fortunate that Yakima and 'Ugliest' didn't fall in the same sentence this time.

To find out more about how has the price of gas changed throughout the years, Stacker ran the numbers on the cost of a gallon of gasoline for each of the last 84 years. Using data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (released in April 2020), we analyzed the average price for a gallon of unleaded regular gasoline from 1976 to 2020 along with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for unleaded regular gasoline from 1937 to 1976, including the absolute and inflation-adjusted prices for each year.
