It wasn't quite two weeks ago that Steely Dan announced their return to the road this summer for a new U.S. trek that's been dubbed the Jamalot Ever After Tour.  The April 3 news featured only two confirmed dates, with a promise that more would be announced soon.  That announcement came this morning -- and it's an impressive outing.

Steely Dan will play 53 dates in 47 cities in the U.S. and Canada, beginning with a July 2 show in Portland, Oregon, including two shows in Washington.

The band's last tour, the oddly-titled Mood Swings: Eight Miles to Pancake Day trek, wrapped up this past October and featured the group playing a variety of special themed shows that included request nights and full performances of its Royal Scam, Aja and Gaucho albums.

Check SteelyDan.com for Jamalot Ever After ticket onsale dates and outlets.  Here's the Northwest dates:

7/2 -- Portland, OR, Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall
7/3 -- Bend, OR, Les Schwab Amphitheatre
7/5 -- Redmond, WA, Marymoor Park
7/6 -- Redmond, WA, Marymoor Park
