Alt-rock was thriving, grunge was hitting a tipping point, but there were still plenty of acts just starting to make their mark on rock and metal music.

According to GasBuddy's survey of 91 stations in the valley, prices have fallen 0.9 cents when compared to last week selling for an average of $4.59 a gallon Tuesday.

GasBuddy officials say prices in Yakima are 6.1 cents per gallon lower than a month ago and stand 76.6 cents per gallon lower than a year ago.

But while the Median price is up sales are down.

This should be nice and heavy.
