Do lower interest rates make you think about a new home?

All total 1,517 homes have sold so far this year representing a 23% decrease from last year

If you are inclined to purchase a home it depends upon how much money you have to spend before taking on a payment.

While the sales price is down the number of homes sold is also down.

According to Cory Bemis, owner of Yakima's John L. Scott Real Estate the 2023 Year to Date Median Home Sales Price in the Yakima is $329,995.

the median home sales price in Yakima at the end of 2022 was $350,000 which increased 8.5% from the same time last year when the median sales price was $322,750.

Bemis says 150 homes were sold in November...a decrease from the 222 homes sold in November of 2021.

A lot of homes sold in September in Yakima but not as many as last September.
