This will probably come off as an old man rant about the "good old days", but I submit that concert and event ticket prices are higher than ever and I have the proof!

It was 36 years ago today (December 15) that the Seattle Seahawks became the first-ever franchise in professional sports to retire a jersey number in honor of their fan base.

Safeco Field (now T-Mobile Park) has always been called 'The House That Griffey Built'. Before Jr. could continue his legacy at a brand new ball park, he had to close his first home - the Kingdome - with a bang.

Less than 24 years after opening, Seattle's Kingdome was demolished on this date in 2000.

It's hard to believe that 19 years have passed since the final baseball game was ever played in Seattle's Kingdome.
