One of the best decisions I have made in my life is moving my young family to the city of Moxee 10 years ago.  Having grown-up in West Valley and watching it grow into a much more populated and less agricultural area, it has been nice to raise my son in an area that reminds me of where I grew up.  Back in 2004, Moxee proper had about 800 citizens.  Now about 3,500 reside in the small town located

The first Sunfair Parade was held in 1961 in midsummer, part of a Sunfair, sponsored by the Yakima Sundusters, a promotional group of the Greater Yakima Chamber of Commerce. In 1972, the parade was moved to September to coincide with the opening of the Central Washington State Fair.
