There’s a Hop-Infused Tea that Nobody Outside Leavenworth Knows About… Until Now

Yakima's Fresh Hop Ale Festival was one for the record books. Such a great event and gathering of so many cool people, great food, fantastic music and, of course, great, local beers. Of course they had non-beer options including wine but one company that caught my eye was one a non-alcoholic Oolong Hop Tea from Blewett Brewing.

Well, I had to try that.

I'm here to tell you that if this keg didn't blow sooner it would have been the only thing I drank for the rest of the night.

Yes, tea. At a Fresh Hop Festival.

It was that refreshing oolong tea with that hop infusion and lightly carbonated it was perfect.

I asked the people at Blewett Brewing more about this tea. They said they make it in two varieties but it's only available in-house at the restaurant and tap room in Leavenworth, WA.

So next time you find yourself in Leavenworth find Blewett Brewing and ask about this hop-infused tea. I don't think you'll be disappointed. I guess they have good pizza here, too. All the more reason for me to visit.
