Report: Van Halen Might Be Getting The Old Gang Back Together

There is a huge rumor going around that Van Halen is getting the band back together and going on tour.

If this rumor turns out to be true, I am going to scream until my voice is sore! Like many of you, I remember being in middle school and rocking out to classic Van Halen hits like, "Why Can't This Be Love" and "Panama".

My all-time favorite Van Halen song is hands down, "Jump". It's so hard to believe this song, crafted in 1984, is now over thirty-four years old!

I recently asked my seven-year-old daughter, Willow, what she thought of the song Jump and she replied, "That's the one from the movie, Sing! Yeah, I don't like it."

"So you're telling me that you don't like 'JUMP'?" I yelled, confused and disoriented.

I quickly got out my laptop and blasted the song from YouTube. After several rounds of air guitar and throwing around my hair, I finally pressed the 'stop' button on the video.

"So you're STILL telling me that you don't like 'JUMP'?" I asked my daughter again, play-furious.

"Nope. Are you gonna ground me for that?" she asked me, with a smirk on her cherubic face.

"Yep! You're grounded for the rest of your life!" I chuckled.

If Van Halen actually goes through with reuniting for a tour, I am definitely getting myself a ticket. I will be living my best 1984 - 1986 life, EVERRR!
