Being a nurse takes a special soul. As it turns out, Washington state is one of the best places to be a nurse.

Oregon came in first place with Minnesota just before Washington.

The ranking comes from WalletHub who put opportunities and competition as well as work environment into consideration.

Washington also came in fifth place for lowest competition by 2026. Something to consider when looking for a new career path.
