Yeah, Hanford Is Radioactive

There is a huge hole out at Hanford that now exposes a tunnel used to transport nuclear waste.

That's basically what happened today.

Yeah, there was some kind of transport truck loaded with radioactive waste in the tunnel at the time according to the coverage like that post.

This afternoon it was a mass exodus from the site as workers were sent home.

Still, don't go grab your bug-out bag just yet.

According to the folks that tell people when to panic, there is no reason to panic. Besides, doesn't the wind blow toward Idaho anyway?
