Saturday night's concert at Safeco Field in Seattle by the Foo Fighters was everything I hoped for and more. For my good buddy Mike, a die-hard fan of Nirvana, it was, well... NIRVANA!

My wife and I carpooled with our friends Mike and Jan. Mike drove. Thank Grohl god. I was able to listen to the Washington Huskies game on the radio while he wheeled us over Snoqualmie Pass. We stopped at Indian John Hill to stretch/smoke/pee and ran in to these uber fans:

After a bit of pre-func at the Hooverville bar, we finally headed into SafeCo. The Foos finally hit the stage and seared through a setlist that was 2:40 long and included tons of hits, a couple of covers and a very special guest appearance by former Nirvana bandmate Krist Novoselic.
