Yesterday the YPD released the names and mug shots of eight men charged with patronizing an undercover prostitute.

While they have all been formally charged, none have been afforded due process or had their day in court or been convicted of any crime.

The fact that the police Captain's name is Rod Light only adds an element of subtle humor to the serious situation.  The captain has stated that more names will be released today in an effort to curb the practice and clean up the downtown area where the undercover sting operation was executed.

How do you feel about this practice of publicizing the identities of those merely charged with such a crime?
