This year, there are more events than ever going on at State Fair Park in Yakima for the whole family to enjoy.

What is Happening at State Fair Park in Yakima for the 4th of July Holiday Weekend?

The fun begins on Friday, July 1st, with the Fourth of July Carnival, which continues through Monday, July 4th. New this year, it's the First Annual “King of the Valley” Racing Series & Demo Derby. This is going to be an all-day event that features exciting motorsports like Side x Side races, Youth Quad, and Tuff Truck Races and finishing up with a Demolition Derby! While parking and admission to the fairgrounds will be free, you will need tickets to get into these race events. You can also fill out the form below for a chance to win some from us! Fireworks and More at State Fair Park in Yakima on July 4th

On the 4th, there will be day-long events happening much of which will be free to enjoy. Free parking and Free admission to the fairgrounds. Lots of entertainment including the return of Yakima APPLE JAM Battle of the Bands competition. New this year, the Kids Zone with face painting, water features, a foam pit, a coloring wall, and more. Of course, the carnival continues, and there will be a beer garden and food vendors available. The fireworks show starts at 10 PM. Even though parking is free, many enjoy taking advantage of the Yakima Transit shuttles that will be running to and from the event. Get all the details at statefairpark.org.
