Baskin Robbins Coming to Fred Meyer in Yakima

There's a spot at Fred Meyer that has hosted Starbucks and, even before that, Sub Shop in the past. Since Starbucks moved across the street it left this little spot open. The perfect size for, say, 31 flavors of ice cream.

I was walking into Fred Meyer the other day when I saw this sign and someone working on the inside getting it ready.

Not sure when they'll open, exactly. I tried calling the other Baskin Robbins locations and the employees at the time didn't know, either. I'm sure it won't be too much longer, though.

Ever since the location on Summitview closed down this left us with the Nob Hill location as well as the one on south 1st street. This third location will be great as they're all spread out so next time you're craving a mocha blast or sundae, you wouldn't have to travel too far.
