When the temperature hits the 90s, you head for the beach, right? And when it's 94 degrees and we've got 94 (or maybe a few more) bikes at 94.5's Central Washington Bike Nights, we head for -- well, Sea Galley.

And so it went Wednesday night. With a lot of hot, thirsty riders crowding into the air-conditioned lounge and the breezy back porch at Sea Galley's Union Gap restaurant, we popped some cold ones, sucked down some seafood while the legendary Curt Cartier and the lovely Cheyenne hosted another great night.

This time another Cheyenne -- Cheyenne St. Aubin -- took home the Breaking Benjamin tickets in our app contest, while 2-year-old Ivan Bossart became our youngest-ever People's Choice Award winner.

We also passed around a boatload of prizes, courtesy of Pepsi, and took in some more entries for our Sturgis Buffalo Chip Rally grand prize. That one includes tent camping and all the concerts. (If you missed us Wednesday, you can still sign up at Owens Cycle Inc.,1707 N. First St.)

Which brings us to our final two stops on this year's tour:

  • June 19 Mickey’s Pub and Orion Cinema, Yakima
  • June 26 -- Grand Prize Giveaway Night at Jack-son’s Sports Bar, Yakima

See you on the next ride ...
