Attention Yakima, Shine Up Your Chrome & Prep Your Rides!

All things considered, the Yakima Valley has had a pretty light (and, in my opinion, nice) winter.

Yes, I know we’re not even a full month into the season, but I can keep my fingers crossed.

Like many in the valley, I’m ready for spring.

I’m ready to put the heavier jacket away and pull out the light sweater.

Swap the boots for the flip flops, and take off the winter beanie for the ball cap.

I want to get out, mow my yard, and enjoy the sunshine.

I want to shine my car and cruise!

Well, that time will come soon enough, and plans are starting to pop up for those fun car events!

Kicking off in April, there will be a fun gathering for people who love cars, love chrome, and love coffee!

Every Saturday, starting April 5th and going strong through October 11th, you can put the peddle to the metal (well, not quite that far down) and head to the giant parking log of Tieton Village (home to Jo Ann Fabrics, Tieton Village Drugs, Yakima Goodwill, Dollar Tree, and Yakima Coffee Company)!

Whether you’re planning to Cruise The Ave or kick back and enjoy some coffee with good friends and cool cars, the good weather and time to put the top down can’t come soon enough!
