Cat Owners Might Be More Kinky Than We Thought
We all know the saying of "crazy cat lady," heck, even "The Simpsons" has a character runs around screaming and throwing cats from inside her nightgown and in her gray hair. Well, a new study that included more than 36,000 people in Slovakia and the Czech Republic points out that people who are surrounded by cats are more likely to be sexually aroused 'by their own fear, danger and sexual submission."
But how? Well it's a condition called toxoplasmosis, and it is a type of parasite caught from our feline friends. Usually has no symptoms, but in some can show like signs of a flu, bipolar disorder. But in ones with the condition surveyed, it even showed signs to be more aroused by danger and sexual submission.
Now, the study isn't saying that cats are responsible for the "Fifty Shades of Grey" series, but it does suggest that there might be a higher relationship between people with toxoplasmosis and those who do not have it, due to the effect the parasite has on the brain and behavior. Maybe we should change it to "Kinky Cat Lady!"
