KATS Concert Report: Creed, Daughtry, Mammoth in Auburn, WA

Creed has set out across the country with their ‘Return of the Summer of ’99 Tour’ and it turned back the clock in the Pacific Northwest with a handful of stops, two right here in Washington.

Two Big Stops: Ridgefield and Auburn, Washington

Wednesday, August 13th, at Ridgefield, Washington, and the next day, Thursday, August 14th, in Auburn, Washington.

Several lucky KATS listeners scored tickets to see this show, and all the feedback has been amazing, with the only criticism being that Mammoth should have had a longer set! That is a great critique to have.

The tour kicked off in early July in Lexington, Kentucky, with nearly 30 shows set for the trek. Several artists were on deck to act as special guest appearances, such as Big Wreck, Sevendust, Mammoth, and Daughtry.

3 Doors Down was originally set to perform on many of the dates, but sadly had to pull out due to Brad Arnold’s diagnosis of stage 4 Kidney Cancer back in May.

94.5 KATS listener and concert ticket winner, Jayson Epperson, was in attendance at the White River Amphitheatre show in Auburn, Washington, and took some pretty fun videos of the concert (linked in his quotes) and uploaded them to his Facebook, and has given us permission to share.

“It was a very good concert, both Daughtry and Creed put on a fantastic show. Mammoth was great, just wish they had a longer set!”
