DON’T Toss That Credit Card Offer, it may be Your Stimulus $$
Don't throw out that credit card offer. It could be the IRS with your stimulus payment on a prepaid card. Check out those offers!
I always throw away credit card offers. Who needs another credit card? Currently, I have three and pay way too much interest for them. In any case, I just threw a credit card offer out the other day. Today, I am second-guessing if I did the right thing.
I was perusing Facebook and saw the following.
Seriously? I've been worried since we never received our second stimulus check. Did I throw out this Economic Impact Card? It was sent to 8-million people. The EIP Cards were sent in a white envelope displaying the U.S. Department of the Treasury seal. The EIP Card has the Visa name on the front of the card and the bank name, MetaBank, N.A. on the back.
We had quite a hefty bill to pay for last year's taxes. With everything going on I'm confused if we should do our own tax return or seek out a professional. What a year it's been.
If you visit IRS.gov, there are many subjects. If you need forms, you can download them and fill them out and mail them in. This is where I am currently, in paying my debt to the IRS. After receiving a certified statement from the IRS, I've been steadily paying.
I wonder what happens to people who can't pay. Anyway, not to digress. Don't throw away the credit card offers. If you haven't received your second stimulus check, that offer MAY be your stimulus on a prepaid card. You can get all the details here.
Oh! By the way, I checked the mail pile on my kitchen counter. Look what I found!
